Excellent article. I'm just 52 and feel every bit like you described. I'm currently at UX design lecturer at Madrid's top tech university. But I feel that I have to keep designing to stay up to date However I find it almost impossible to find a job in the industry. True the that Spain is among the countries in the EU with more ageism in general, but I looked for remote jobs in all European countries. I can confirm that ageism is prevalent in the UX industry.
